How to register
If you stay at one of the official event hotels or in partner apartments, please complete the form available in the dedicated section of the website.
Once we receive the completed form, the tournament entry and participation fees will be sent to you by email, together with the payment instructions.
If you choose independent accommodation, you are required to send an email to sardiniaworldchess@gmail.com indicating your full name and FIDE ID, and to proceed with the payment of the additional fee for external guests.
The Sardinia World Chess Festival applies a uniform entry fee for all participants, without distinction of rating, title, or category. This approach reflects the festival’s inclusive spirit and its aim of bringing together players from different backgrounds on equal terms. The single fee structure ensures transparency and clarity for all those who wish to take part, while maintaining the same conditions for registration across the board.
The Organizing Committee, however, provides special conditions exclusively for players rated above 2600.
- Registration by March 31: €100
- Registration by April 15: €130 (subject to Organizing Committee approval)
- Registration after April 16: €150 (subject to Organizing Committee approval)
An additional fee of €50 will be added to the entry fee for all those player not staying at the official hotel (Sardinian players are exempt from this additional fee).
